It was an emotional moment and the greatest Christmas gift for a man whose stepdaughter surprised him, by changing her last name to match his, and officially becoming his daughter.
Sharing the adorable moment on her Instagram page, the young lady says she personally made the decision because her then-stepfather molded her into the woman she's today.
She wrote:
When I was the age of 3, you came into my life and treated me just like I was your own! Thank you for being the best dad in the world! You’ve always supported me, gave me the best advice, you molded me into the young woman I am today! She also revealed that the emotional moment left her mother in tears for an hour.
