Nigerian lady shares love story as she celebrates 1st wedding anniversary with husband (Photos)

A Nigerian lady identified as Juliet Okeke Kalu has shared the story of how her husband met her to celebrate their first wedding anniversary.

According to the lady, her husband saw her in a dream three months before he actually met her. Kalu further explained that her husband had prayed and fasted before he had the dream where he saw her. The lady who gushed about her love story on Facebook also noted that God spoke to her husband through his dream.

She wrote:

“Indeed, God still speaks through people. I am a living testimony.” According to her, their relationship as man and wife is based on a mystical experience, adding that her husband prayed and fasted before they met. Kalu wrote:” What a mystical coming together as man and wife…..he prayed and fasted, he saw me in a dream 3months prior to our physical interference. Happy anniversary to us!!!”

MY LOVE STORY “Phewwww!!!!……How time flies. Its 28th August, already. This is exactly 5yrs now, on a Sunday morning, in St Joseph cathedral church, that I met my Mr. Right.

Today marks my 5yrs anniversary of my love story. To me, its a testimony I must confess. Some meet their Mr. Right in the Club, Resturant, wedding, seminars, social funtions, café, in a bus, or through a third party referral or by virtue of betrothal either by parents influence or for the sake of compensation. As for me; I met my choice right in the church. What a divine intervention!!!! I would take you down a memory lane of how I met my choice. Let me begin by telling you my Husband’s version prior to our divine coming together as husband and wife…….he prayed & fasted and God showed him an exact picture of me in a dream; even though we had not met before and 3mnths after, we met in a church.

As for me, barely a month after my youth service, I laid a philosopy of what I hoped to achieve in life, one of which is getting married to my very own Mr. Right that would earn me the appellation of “Mrs.” I wished to attain a greater height in life and the company of a strong pillar and a mentor right behind me, wasn’t a bad idea at aĺl……..like the saying always goes thus; “behind every successful woman, there is a man”.

I knew that every good thing comes from God, the creator of the whole universe. Name it; children, wealth, husband and even the air that we breath, all comes from God. Having this in mind, i went down on my kneel in supplication, with prayer & fasting and as a Catholic that I am, I made a 9 days Novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Help. I was really optimistic of meeting him, ‘my Mr. Right’ in a very short while. Brethern, it worked for me. I met Mr. Francis Kalu the corresponding week which was on a Sunday 28th Aug; 2011. He approached me while i was about entering the church and said to me:

Mr. Right: Hope you don’t mind if i sit with you? Juliet: Do you know where i sit? Mr. Right: Just relax, i would lead you to your usual sit. Surprisingly, he led me straight to my usual sit. I never knew the young man had been taking note of me about two sundays ago!!! And we sat down and enjoyed the sermon together making jest of every slightest opportunity. After the mass; he collected my number and promised calling to discuss something very important and finally saw me off, telling me that he would be returning back to the church for a youth program & I insisted on joining the program.

The Rev. Fr. who officiated the event asked him to lead in the opening prayer and when it was time for question & answer I raised up my hand & introduce myself as “Juliet”. The priest was amazed & said that he was sure that the person sitting next to me was my Romeo and he announced to the congregation that he can’t wait to join us together in Holy Matrimony and everyone applauded in unison that we were a perfect match. It then dawned on me that God speaks through men. To me, this was strange as the man in question has not even voiced out his intention. Yes!!! Finally he called to propose to me and truth be told, I never resisted his proposal, cos he was my dream-man, dark complexioned, calm, emotional, athletic & has the body build that I cherish alot; and above all he has the fear of God in him as he helps me to grow my spiritual life. Not later than 3 weeks, both parents were already getting to know each other and in 3mnths, we were already married.

I’v never regretted marrying my choice as we lived happily ever after, despite the fact that we never courted each other for once. He has showered me with so much love that I can’t comprehend. He is the best husband; companion & friend to me in the whole wide world. To me; God’s gift is so unique in every sense without any iota of pain. Mr. Francis is God’s gift to me!!!!”
