Maryam Charles Blasts President Buhari (IKORODUDAILYNEWS)

Following the recent activities of the south eastern part of Nigeria, Maryam Charles has spoken out .Report From Ikorodudailynews states that She slammed the President Buhari led government saying Nigeria is a mess under his leadership. 

The actress also declared that she is not a supporter of IPOB but that everyone needs to be treated equally Amidst rumors that the army may have attacked civilians during their recent operation (Python dance) in the south eastern part of Nigeria, actress Maryam Charles has spoken out against the move. 
In a statement made available to Ikorodudailynews, the Maryam slammed the government of President Buhari for approving the army’s reported actions. While also declaring that she is not a supporter of IPOB, she harped on the need for everyone to be treated equally.

Read her full statement below: “In every political structure, you must prioritize treating everyone equally; otherwise you are encouraging them to form factions. Any form of faction within a polity is a threat to every political structure and this may lead to violence, civil disobedience and possibly war. 
Many who are supporters of IPOB do not support the group because they want it, but because they feel threatened by the government. When a leader is such an illiterate that he can't chose words to address his subjects but will speak like they are slaves without a choice, what else is he calling for? 
I am not a fan or sympathizer of IPOB, all I need is good governance which will bring equal treatment and rights of the citizens, but then if Nigerian army can stoop so low to face the citizens causing chaos and threat to their life, something is wrong. For whose sake are they fighting unarmed citizens? They are not the police, or other paramilitary group, while should a military turn negatively on civilians like they have no place in the society? You see, Nigeria under "general" Buhari is a mess. Not until we get a replacement. This insanity has to stop; we should learn to be fair in general.
